Yei Teacher Training College has launched ‘a voluntary keep Yei Municipality clean campaign’ where all students, academic and support staff joined in cleaning.
Yei Teacher Training College Tutor Malone Joseph Noah on Tuesday told Radio Easter that it is the responsibility of all citizens to maintain urban centres clean to avoid disease outbreaks.
He reveals that Yei Municipality and health department provide equipment for awareness campaign targeting the biggest percentage of population in urban and rural areas.
Tutor Malone says community participation prevents diseases from breeding and that people should avoid redundancy in maintaining hygiene.
