Juba Catholic Archdiocese Secretary-General urges South Sudan to revisit their conscience while celebrating the fourth anniversary of independence.
 
Speaking to Radio Bakhita, Fr Gabriel Asida decries the tragedies South Sudan as a nation has undergone within a short period in the aftermath of independence, describing them ‘unfortunate’.
 
He says South Sudan needs to build a foundation based on love, reconciliation and good relations within and outside the country to deter the wrath of God through prayers that open hearts for true reconciliation.
 
A prison, Hospitals Orphanage Chaplain Fr John Ochaya urges South Sudanese to be peaceful in the eve of independence anniversary.
 
He reminds organized forces not to harass civilians in the streets as independence celebration approaches.
 
The priests made the statements in an exclusive interview with Radio Bakhita on Tuesday.
