St Joseph’s Bari Choir of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba on Saturday marked 40 years of evangelism with a call for unity as Bari language speakers.

Presiding over the Eucharistic celebration, Yei Catholic Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe cautions masses against division based on minor differences in dialects, Radio Bakhita reported.

He says Bari speaking communities of Terekeka, Juba, Yei, Kajo-Keji, Lainya and Morobo Counties jointly marked 40 years of faith as one people.

Bishop Lodu hails men and women in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba for laying down the foundation of 40 years to qualify for celebration.

He says the celebrations are marked with emotions of joy because the Lord has blessed the Bari with faith.

The Bishop hopes the Bari Choir makes another 40 years to continue carrying out the Good News of Jesus Christ to masses to become much better.
