MSF Spain hands over Yambio Hospital to government

Medicines Sans Frontier or MSF Spain on Wednesday handed over Yambio Hospital in Western Equatoria to the state government.
 
MSF Coordinator Daphne Hemily says the agency provided health services in different departments for the past nine years, including training to improve technical management in medical fields, Radio Anisa reported.
 
State Health Minister John Gboono hails MSF Spain for great work done to Western Equatoria State and the country at large.
 
He recalls that MSF constructed health facilities including pediatrics, maternity wards and HIV clinic at Yambio Hospital plus other services at Primary Health Care Centres and Units.
 
Western Equatoria State Governor Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro recalls that MSF started working in Western Equatoria since 2004 with Sleeping Sickness Program in Tombura and later transferred to Yambio in 2007 and that MSF will be remembered in the state for improving maternity and running HIV/AIDS Program.
