Bishop Adwok advises Christians to open up hearts to Jesus to make peace

Sudan, Khartoum Auxiliary Bishop says the Church plays a crucial role in South Sudan through listening and guiding all political actors engaged in South Sudan peace negotiations.
 
In an interview with CRN, Bishop Daniel Adwok explains that the Church contributes to promote peace by praying for forgiveness, urging all South Sudanese to be open to encounter with Jesus Christ for peace messages to go deeply into their hearts.
 
He adds that Bishops play a leading role in the journey of the Christian communities as a responsibility for each member to make the first step to change.
 
Bishop Adwok says faith is a process and that all Christians need to grow as believers.
 
He explains that for Christians to grow they need to keep seeking for the Lord and learn how to look at the others with the eyes of faith.
 
Bishop Adwok assures Christians of Jesus’ support to strengthen their love and respect for others if they seek his ultimate faith.
