Relatives told Radio Emmanuel that late Lokang was in a stable mental condition before the incident.
Lokang died shortly when relatives attempted to rescue his life after finding him dangling on a rope.
The death of Lokang brings two to the number of members of security forces to commit suicide this year following and earlier case where a prison warder shot himself to death.
