Tonj South County Commissioner of Warrap state has formed a committee to move at night and day times to arrest those who carry guns in town.
William Wol Mayom warns that whoever is found moving with a gun must be arrested and the firearm removed away, Don Bosco Radio reported
He orders organized forces to surrender their ammunitions to stores and register each gun, urging them to co-operate with leaders in protecting civilians and their property.
The commissioner reminds them of the coming Independence Day to celebrate with joy and peace.
