Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO has launched Government and Non-governmental Organizations or NGO Forum in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
CEPO Communications Officer James Hitler says the forum builds good working partnership between government and NGOs in delivering community services, Radio Easter reported.
Yei Municipal Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba hails CEPO for the initiative, saying the forum helps the local government to understand NGOs development plans supplementing local efforts in development.
Yei River County Commissioner Bidali Cosmas Wöri-Köjö calls for cooperation between government and non-government organizations to deliver better services to citizens.
The officials made the statements during the launch of Government-NGOs Forum on Friday at Yei Crop Training Centre.
