Central Equatoria State Governor tells the Council of States that there is need to re-establish a proper government reflecting all national faces to end insecurity.

Governor Clement Wani Konga says some elements within the government including army are influencing cattle herders to cause havoc on the state highways, Radio Bakhita reported.

He argues that proper government re-establishment addresses rampant cases of tribal segregation.

Governor Konga says Mundari cattle herders are ready to leave Juba County with several precondition demands including provision of animal drugs, water, cattle market establishment and medical care services for their communities.

He adds that he met Jonglei cattle herders’ community leadership to leave Equatoria region and wonders why they are still in Juba.

Governor Konga was responding to Council of States’ summon on increasing insecurity in Juba and Central Equatoria State as a whole.
