South Sudan Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation Ministry on Wednesday again summoned Sudanese Ambassador to Juba Magdi Ahmed Mufadal over aerial bombardment in Upper Nile State two days ago.

In a statement, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Peter Bashir Gbandi says the aerial bombardment resulted into the death of several civilians and SPLA gallant forces.

He condemns the bombardment, saying it is a violation of the cooperation agreement with Khartoum.

Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Bashir Gbandi warns that any further aggression from Sudan will not be tolerated, urging Khartoum to distant itself from Juba rebellion.

Sudanese authorities say security arrangements and border agreement need to be put in place.
