Partners from African Department for Aid to the Church in Need and Sudan Relief Fund are assessing pastoral and social programs which they support in Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese.

Head of African Department for Aid to the Church Christine D says their mission is to support churches worldwide in pastoral needs by pontifical foundation assistance, Radio Anisa reported.

She urges Catholic Churches to be the mirror for the rest of the society and that the bishops, priests, sisters and laity must preach peace through communion of prayer.

Sudan Relief Fund’s Representative David Coffey discloses that they came to assess new schools’ project and agriculture programs in the diocese.

The joint team is expected to visit sisters in Riimenze and Nzara Parishes to assess ongoing activities in the areas.
