Yei River County Child Protection Officer is telling parents to accord girls their pressing needs to moderate possible causes of abuse and exploitation.
Victoria Michael believes lack of parental response to needs of children especially girls has contributed to rampant child abuse cases as girls go out searching for fulfillment of their needs, Radio Easter reported.
She calls on the public to immediately report any child abuse case to relevant authority for redress.
Madam Michael the statement during the commemoration of International Africa Child Day on Tuesday in Mugwo Payam of Yei River County.
