Radio Voice of Peace management, Saturday celebrated the expansion of station signal to cover beyond a radius of 60 Kilometres.
Radio Station Directress Sister Mary Carmen Galicia Alfaro says the radio signal has been expanded to broadcast to Toro, Muru and Lira among others.
She hails God for the gift and Comboni Missionaries of Spain for supporting the radio signal expansion project.
Spanish Comboni Bothers Alberto Lamana and Francisco Carrasco installed 300 watt transmitter on top of the hill to overcome the hindering topography nature of the Nuba Mountains.
Nuba Mountains’ Director General for media and information Yassir Abdurahim Abass says the service Voice of Peace provides is in line with the dream of the citizens on freedom, equality, peace and justice.
He praises the radio station for broadcasting tradition and culture of the Nuba People.
