The Catholic Bishop Yei on Sunday calls on all communities to take care of children because they are God’s gifts to people.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe while presiding over the solemnity of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ at Christ the King Cathedral cautions that one time God would ask people to account for abusing their children, Radio Easter reported.
Bishop Lodu stresses the need for support to children, lamenting that it is very shameful to hear of children abuses in the county particularly, state and the country at large.
The Bishop was commenting during the celebration of the feast day for the Pontifical Society of the Missionary Childhood.
