11, 450 Nuba Mountains’ families to receive seeds

Nuba Mountains’ Agriculture Secretariat and Kulurubu Organization are expected to distribute seeds to about 11, 450 families this week.
 
Nuba Acting Secretary for Agriculture Maris Ali Kodi says the seeds include tomatoes, egg plants, okra, onion, zinger, pumpkin and carrots targeting 5,000 households in Heiban, 2,750 in Tubo or Buram, 300 in Western Kadugli and 700 in Talodi Counties, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
 
Kulurubu Organization official Yuhana Amir urges community members to plant the seeds to benefit families.
 
The seed distribution is funded by Nuba Relief Rehabilitation Development Organization partnering with Agriculture Secretariat and Kulurubu organization.
