Journalism Students’ Press Club trains on news feature writing

South Sudan Journalism Students Press Club comprised of Journalism Students from Universities, Media Institutes and Colleges in the country is expected to conduct training from Wednesday to Thursday in Juba.
 
In a statement extended to CRN, the training aims at imparting practical article writing skills to aspiring journalists to ensure excellence in the media sector by production of balanced, ethical, professional and accurate press articles.
 
The training is a joint effort of UNESCO in South Sudan, Ministries of Education, Information and Broadcasting, Association of Media Development in South Sudan, Union of Journalists of South Sudan and South Sudan General Students Union.
 
The overall objective of the club is to expand space for freedom of expression, increase the professionalism of journalists and contribute to strengthening media capacity in the country.
 
Media Consultant Badru Mulumba and Senior Editor Victor Keri Wani and digital publisher Dr Michael K Joz are expected to facilitate the training.
