Yambio re-launches go back to school campaign

Hundredth of school children on Monday assembled in Yambio Freedom Square to rehearse ‘go back to learning’ campaign in Western Equatoria State.
 
Education Minister Pia Phillip Michael discloses to Radio Anisa that the state is preparing to launch the campaign to bring the school dropout and those children who do not learn.
 
He stresses the need for children to continue and complete their studies successfully.
 
The Education Minister discloses government plans to train more additional teachers and to cooperate with communities to provide learning spaces.
 
Yabongo Day Mix Secondary School Head Girl Mangala Grace says the government encouraged her to go back to learning after dropping out of school, promising to complete her studies up to higher level.
 
Miwai Easter William from Gracia Nursery and Primary School was excited with the government for creating a room for children to go back to school to complete their studies for the development of South Sudan.
 
40,000 additional kids are expected to go back to schools through the ‘go back to learning campaign’.
 
All County Education Directors in the State and high level officials from national government including some Ambassadors on Wednesday are expected to attend the occasion in Yambio.
