Western Bahr El Ghazal Health Minister reports and hails Egyptian campaign as most successful with at least two thousand patients able to meet doctors on various diseases in seven days.
Dr Isaac Cleto says the doctors would give a report on the campaign and recommend areas of trainings in Egypt for their local medical personnel to come and perform similar operations at home, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
He says patients with more complicated operations were left out as they need special equipment and attention, calling for the establishment of Intensive Care Unit to facilitate operations of diseases like neck swelling.
Dr Cleto says the state would organize similar trip for Egyptian doctors at least twice a year to perform health campaign, but that the Ministry would be very strict to ensure that most serious cases are dealt with based on doctors’ recommendation.
The Minister declares that all those operated would be monitored by the local doctors as the Egyptian team is leaving for Cairo.
