Western Bahr El Ghazal Health Authorities say Egyptian medical doctors operated nearly 300 patients out of the seven hundred targeted since they started last Saturday at Wau Teaching Hospital.
Health Minister Isaac Cleto Hassan says the campaign aims to help poor people who cannot afford operations abroad, adding that the initiative would also empower local medical personnel through training and skill sharing, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
