National Bureau of Statistics holds consultative forum in Juba

National Bureau of Statistics is on Wednesday holding a national consultative forum on the International Conference on Population and Development Beyond 2014 and Post-2015 Development Agenda in Juba.
 
The conference under the theme: ‘South Sudan: The Future We Want’, aims to foster a shared understanding and contribute to defining South Sudan’s position for the post 2015 development agenda and draw recommendations for incorporation into national policies and plans.
 
Top national government ministries representatives, UN agencies, donor community, civil society, academia and experts are expected to participate in the meeting.
 
The conference is also expected to review key elements of the programme of action of the population and development beyond 2014 and post-2015 development agenda.
 
Cabinet Affairs Minister Martin Elia Lomurö is expected to open the meeting to be closed by Foreign Affairs Minister Barnaba Marial Benjamin.
