SPLM-N senior delegation on Saturday concluded its visit to Sweden and announced its participation in a hearing about the situation in Sudan at the European Parliament next month.
SPLM-N spokesperson, Mubarak Ardol, says the delegation headed by its chairperson Malik Agar, Secretary-General, Yasser Arman and the member of the top leadership office, Jagod Mukwar is currently conducting a European tour, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He says the delegation met on Friday with several officials at the Swedish Foreign ministry including Foreign Affairs Deputy Director-General, head of the African department, Foreign Ministry Senior Advisor, Horn of Africa official and the former envoy to the Horn of Africa.
Mr Ardol says the meetings discussed the humanitarian issues and the situation in the conflict areas following refusal of the Sudanese government to open relief corridors.
The visit is the first of its kind by an SPLM-N delegation to Sweden since the conflict erupted in South Kordofan and Blue Nile States in 2011.
