Thousands of Catholic Christians on Saturday witnessed Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro assisted by Auxiliary Bishop Santo Loku Pio confirming 745 candidates at St Theresa’s Cathedral, Kator in Juba.
The Archbishop believes that faith in God reserves the candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation, calling on the new entrants to believe in Jesus Christ, Radio Bakhita reported.
He encourages the candidates to strengthen their faith in Christ as they end Easter Season with Pentecost.
The confirmed candidates came from St Theresa’s Cathedral, St Joseph, St Kizito and Holy Trinity Parishes.
On April 11, 187 children received first Holy Communion at St Joseph’s Parish before taking a 54-day training that led to their confirmation.
