Three people were injured in a motorbike accident including a little boy with fractured leg with teeth reportedly sunk into his head raising fears that they were broken amid bruises on his jaws.
13-year old Amudi Hassan was knocked down by a motorbike rider while the passenger and rider also got slightly injuries on Friday evening in Amdurdu-Kumburu area of Heiban County in the Nuba Mountains, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
The victim Hassan was immediately rushed to the hospital by another motorist and is receiving treatment.
Abdigin Ismail, who is blamed for driving at high speed in a crowded residential area, is also receiving treatment at a local hospital with bruises on the jaw and the right hand.
The uncle of the wounded boy says he did not report the case to the chief or the police because he had to take the lad to the hospital after getting transport means.
Relatives of the motorist reportedly visited the wounded boy in the hospital as a sign of kindness and forgiveness.
Voice of Peace did not approach Kumbur Payam police or authority in Umdurdu for comment over the accident.
