A road accident on Tuesday afternoon at Gangara Emilia in Yambio County left two people dead and two others injured.
Traffic Police Investigator Joseph Adam reports that a Boda-boda rider on his way to Nzara who was trying to overtake a heavy truck at high speed lost control and fell under the trailer after knocking a16-year old boy on a bicycle, Radio Anisa reported.
He confirms that rider, Saba Levi and his passenger, Flora Mura, died instantly while the cyclist, Marko Bako Faustino sustained minor injuries.
The Investigator advises riders not to overtake vehicles at high speed, bending and slopping roads.
Eye witness, Natalia Faustino who happens to be the young boy’s sister says the motorbike that knocked her brother was carrying two passengers and that a woman and the rider died, but the man survived with a broken leg.
