Eastern Equatoria State Governor holds all South Sudanese responsible for the current economic crisis in the country.

Louis Lobong Lojore on Sunday told the congregation of St Joseph’s Parish of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba that South Sudanese were leading very extravagant lives by sending their children to expensive foreign schools and giving them V8 vehicles, Radio Bakhita reported.

He points out that there is high rate of capital repatriation with several foreign nationals in the country who do not spend their money the way South Sudanese do.

The Governor observes that foreigners transfer most of their earnings to their countries instead of investing in South Sudan.

He encourages South Sudanese to engage in agriculture to help reduce reliance on imported food from the neighboring countries.
