School authorities of Kinji Secondary school in Yei River received a new block under an emergency response arrangement with the local municipal authorities following heavy down pour that interrupted students’ learning.
Yei Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba appeals Kinji Secondary students especially girls to take education a priority, Radio Easter reported.
Tamama Construction Company Managing Director Mawa Nickson urges the students to keep the class rooms clean, appealing to them to stay far from the ongoing construction site.
Speaking at the opening of the block, Kinji Secondary School head teacher Khamis Noah expressed happiness.
The officials spoke during the launch of the new classroom block on Monday.
