The governments of National Unity GoNU and south Sudan signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday that will ensure road construction and water projects which will particularly benefit the people living at the north-south boarders.
Minister of Information and official spokesperson of GoSS, Benjamin Barnaba Marial told the press that road projects would connect northern and southern states bordering each other.

Mr. Mariel said that the projects will create corporation and development to citizens along the boarders and bring peace in the areas.

Mr. Mariel noted that although the projects were late they were better than nothing. Mr. Mariel said that there are no conditions attached to the projects since both governments have contributed to the projects to develop the marginalized areas.

The project is estimated to cost more than two hundred US dollars.
