The Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD complains that it is running out of patience and resources on the settlement of South Sudan crisis.

IGAD source told The East African from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Saturday that they cannot afford to focus only on South Sudan while the region is overwhelmed by other crises.

He calls on the warring parties to realise that IGAD has limited resources and cannot continue sponsoring the talks for over 15 months without tangible results.

A South Sudanese working for UNICEF in Abuja, Nigeria Reverend Christopher Mononye says politicians would be the key losers if a solution is found despite their intransigence.

He cautions that whoever refuses the deal would be isolated just like former Ivory Coast president Laurent Gbagbo.
