Sudan People’s Liberation Movement for Democratic Change or SPLM-DC Chairman says all roads leading to his house remain closed since Wednesday.

Lam Akol Ajawin told CRN in a telephone on Saturday that he contacted Interior Minister to hear the motive behind his house arrest, but there was no clear response.

Dr Akol condemns the act, saying it was unconstitutional, against rights of freedom of movement and against the rule of law, calling on government to immediately withdraw the forces for life to return to normal in his house.

National Alliance on Friday strongly condemned the surrounding and blocking of entrance to the house of their leader by security organs.

Efforts made by CRN to get government’s comment could not succeed.
