Yei River County Police Commissioner in Central Equatoria State tells parents to monitor their children from moving to night clubs, discos and lodges which are risky of HIV infections and school drop out.
Colonel Jeremiah Maker Nai says 25 under age children are in police custody pending their parents’ punishment before release, Radio Easter reported.
He urges parents to protect their children from indecent dressing, drug abuse, risk HIV infections and other rights abuses.
Yei Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba earlier issued an order banning underage children from attending night clubs and lodges, ordering parents and business owners to be charged if any child is found in such places.
