Lakes State Governor has challenged citizens to utilize the rainy season to cultivate to reduce over dependency on imported food from East Africa and Khartoum, Sudan.
Matur Chut Dhuol made the call in state parliament foundation stone launch ceremony on Tuesday, Good News Radio reported.
State Physical Infrastructure Minister Meen Kuch Adhil says the construction is expected to cost over 600 thousand South Sudanese Pounds.
The storey parliament construction is expected to be ready in the next three months.
