About 45 South Sudanese youths who have finished an intermediary training from April 8th to 18th on developing mobile applications are on Saturday today expected to demonstrate testing six applications.

United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization or UNESCO invitation to CRN indicates that the mobile applications built includes Learn English, Salaam, Know South Sudan, First Aid app, Road Safety and Agriculture application for farmers and the conditional input required.

The Learn English application is for adults to operate offline teaching on basic literacy and that Salaam is a peace application that allows users to send messages of peace viewed by everyone who has the application installed on their phones and that those who do not can view it from a web browser.

UNESCO says Know South Sudan application is a game that quizzes the user on general knowledge of the country and learns more about it.

The First Aid app gives information on first aid procedures and gives the user the contacts to the nearest health clinic based on their location while Road Safety is an information application on traffic rules to reduce road accidents.
