Kalkada Mayor in Southern Kordofan on Friday after raiders took 90 cows, calls on Nuba to take care of their cattle in the area.
Ismail Tutu says the raid was a retaliation of more than one hundred camels that entered their territory some weeks ago suspected to have been drawn from the nomads, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He advises Heiban County outskirts residents particularly the eastern part to take care of their livestock because raiders are common in those places.
The Mayor attributes the raid to lack of authority’s seriousness to provide security for citizens’ lives and their property.
