Villa Football Club on Sunday won South Sudan cup beating Nile City 3-2 in penalty shoot out after 0-0 draw in the 90 minutes’ race at Gbudue Stadium in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.
The game turned into fighting among fans resulting into injury of Villa United midfielder Luka Toma, who was admitted to Yambio State Hospital, Radio Anisa reported.
The cup is the sixth Villa United won consecutively over Nile City in Yambio.
Yambio Local Football Association is yet to release an official statement on the incident,
