At least one hundred and eighty-seven children received the first Holy Communion after Easter celebration at St Joseph Parish in Juba on Saturday after six months training.
37 children also received baptismal sacrament on the same occasion, bringing the total of Communion and Baptism recipients to 224, Radio Bakhita reported.
St Joseph Parish Acting Priest Peter Mawa Wilfred urges the children to maintain the spirit of righteousness.
He adds that the children are expected for more 54 days’ training to receive the sacrament of confirmation on Pentecostal Day.
