Lakes State government alleges that SPLM/A in Opposition killed twenty-five people and raided three thousand heads of cattle in Rumbek North County on Sunday morning.
State Government Spokesperson Dhieu Wal Takping told the press on Tuesday that the opposition made a coordinated attack on four cattle camps, wounding 60 people mostly children and the elderly, Radio Good News reported.
The official reports that Gelweng youth recovered an assortment of weapons used by the opposition, including RPG launchers, PKM guns and communication equipments.
He continues that the opposition forces were using a red shoulder flash on their uniforms for identifying themselves.
