Central Equatoria State Health Minister encourages parents to educate their children on how to keep themselves clean before eating food to prevent diseases.
Felix Lodu told CRN in the sideline of World Health Day celebration on Tuesday in Juba that people need to take care of food right from the preparation time, encouraging people to have latrines in their houses to avoid flies contaminating food.
Dr Lodu describes the occasion as very important to change people’s lives to keep their food safe by washing hands with soap and clean water.
Minister Lodu cautions that bacteria can cause diarrhea to people as a result of poisoned food.
