Bishop urges officials to speed up translating prayer book into local languages

Yei Catholic Bishop on Easter Sunday urges officials assigned to translate the prayer book into local languages to speed up the process.
 
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says the prayer book would be translated into Bari, Arabic, Lingala, Muru, Avokaya, Mundu and Baka languages, Radio Easter reported.
 
He spoke while launching the year of the Consecrated Life to pray especially for priests, religious and their families who gave out their children to serve the Christian community.
 
The launch under the theme: ‘Reconciled Catholic family: the domestic church called to holiness and promotion of evangelization and vocation to consecrated life” is expected to conclude on the Fourth Sunday of Easter in 2016.
