Yei Municipal Authority arrested a number of underage children, including 12-year-old child yelling in disco place and put them on standby prison waiting for their parents to turn up for punishment before release.
Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba asks parents to go to the police station, Radio Easter reported.
He accuses them of weak family responsibility, leaving their children to yell in discos instead of concentrating in school and domestic work.
The Mayor tells them to send their children to school than keeping them at home, increasing illiteracy.
He advises various communities to keep the county a role model of peace and unity.
Mr Paul attributes the current suffering to withdrawal from prayers after long liberation struggle for peace.
