Catholic Archbishop of Juba calls on South Sudanese to renew faith in Christianity.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro in his Easter homily at St Theresa’s Cathedral says Christians through weakness, lack of seriousness, misbehaviour and mismanagement have betrayed Christianity, Radio Bakhita reported.

The Metropolitan Bishop describes resurrection of Jesus Christ as salvation of people of God, telling Christians to desist from evil acts and embrace justice, true reconciliation and love during Easter.

Archbishop Lukudu advises Christians to reject war that tarnishes South Sudan image by being peaceful at all times.

He adds that Christians can overcome suffering, bitterness, injustice and tribalism by rising with Jesus Christ to eternity.
