Members of Parliament or MPs representing Kajo-Keji County in Central Equatoria State Assembly fail to meet cattle herders occupying their land after urgent call from Juba administration.

County Information Inspector Beden Elikana Kenyi tells CRN on Friday that the MPs’ meeting with herders scheduled for Thursday at Nyepo, Liwolo and Lire Payams where estimated 38 thousand herds of cattle are browsing on cultivation land failed, waiting for reschedule in future.

He adds that Kajo-Keji County Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni is also in Juba in response to an urgent call.

Central Equatoria State Transitional Legislative Assembly members representing Kajo-Keji and Lainya Counties earlier on told the media that they were heading to their constituencies to join electorates to ask invading cattle herders from Jonglei State to quit peacefully to avoid clash with crop growing natives.
