South Sudan Law Society Legal Aid Attorney during the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 dialogue on Friday in Torit, Eastern Equatoria, urged women to know their right, participate in all aspects of governance in the country and freely express their thoughts amidst challenges.
John Malith Mabor advised South Sudanese women to take part freely in politics, decision making, safety and security because nobody would do it for them, Radio Emmanuel reported.
Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO Civil Engagement Officer Lokuto Bismarck called on men, the national and state governments to support women empowerment to strengthen South Sudan.
The dialogue organized by South Sudan Law Society attracted chiefs, civil society and human rights activists in Eastern Equatoria State.
