St Mary Parish Priest of Tombura-Yambio Diocese on Sunday invited the general faithful to attend penitential rite today Tuesday starting at 9:00 AM at the Parish premises.
Fr Peter Moudie said the penitential rite is the celebration of the word of God and teaching about the origin of sins, focusing on how to repent and reconcile with the Creator and able to beseech forgiveness of the sins committed, Radio Anisa reported.
He stated that when people lose their conscience, they are not unable to reflect back to admit their own wrong doings or forgive others.
Fr Moudie noted that people who killed Jesus out of envy still exist, manifested by leaders denying and stepping on the rights of their people.
