National Ministry of Electricity, Dam, Irrigation and Water Resources Planning Director-General called on citizens of Yei to cooperate in the construction of the water project to provide quality water services.
Emmanuel Lodu advised citizens to be role models and open for more allocation of future projects, Radio Easter reported.
Yei Deputy Mayor Silvano Ali Sanguson called on the local community to give out land for investments when needed.
Governments of Germany and Finland in collaboration with the national ministry of Electricity, Dam, Irrigation and Water Resources launched the project last year in Yei Municipality.
The officials talked to Radio Easter after visiting the project site at Yei-Maridi road on Thursday.
