Eastern Equatoria state Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Animal Resources, praised the Catholic Diocese of Torit for transparency in the implementation of donor funded projects in the state.
Jerome Gama Surur’s remark followed a project budget report presented by Dr. Mundrugo Passi, the project officer for the Catholic Diocese of Torit, Veterinary programme, who revealed the cost of the project as worth six hundred thousand US dollars Dollars.
Mr. Surur said that making the public aware of the project cost is an indication of transparency to the beneficiary.
He urged other none governmental organizations that are partners in the development of Eastern Equatoria, to emulate the Catholic Diocese of Torit when implementing any project in the state.
