Priest tells Christians to ask St Joseph to protect South Sudan

Yei Catholic Diocese Secretary-General on Thursday while presiding over the celebration of St Joseph the husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary told Christians to ask Joseph to protect South Sudan and sustain peaceful families and nation.
 
Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit encourages the faithful to pray for God’s guidance especially during the current worrying situation in the country, Radio Easter reported.
 
Fr Lodongo calls on citizens and leaders to collectively hold on to full responsibility of protecting and fulfilling the plan of God as Joseph did in caring for his family and God’s plan amidst trials.
 
The priest was giving homily at Christ the King Cathedral on Thursday morning in Yei.
