The President of the Republic called on citizens, political parties, faith-based organizations, civil society, business community, farmers, youth, women and chiefs to join peace efforts through national dialogue, reconciliation and development.
Salva Kiir Mayardit made the call during a public rally at Dr John Garang mausoleum on Wednesday in Juba to support the SPLM leadership to lead the process to prosper.
The President called on internally displaced persons and refugees in the neighbouring countries to return to their original homes and resume normal life.
President Kiir welcomes members of the SPLM in Opposition led by Dr Riek Machar Teny who would wish to return to the country.
