African Union Peace and Security Council Commission Chairperson reminded public that the recent circulation of what is alleged to be the report of the African Union Commission of Inquiry on South Sudan is not theirs.
In a statement on Monday, Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma says ‘the so-called ‘report’ that is said to have been leaked is not that of the Commission of Inquiry’.
The Chairperson reassures South Sudanese that the report of the Commission of Inquiry was not publicly released to anyone.
Dr Dlamini’s statement explains that AU has deferred the consideration of the report to a later date.
The Chairperson emphasised that as soon as the Peace and Security Council considers the Inquiry report by making a decision to publicise it, it would be realised.
