Catholic Archbishop of Juba called on believers to work and pray for peace in South Sudan after the failure of the peace talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro in his homily at St Theresa’s Cathedral in Juba on Sunday, told the congregation that the collapse of the negotiations does not mean the end of peace in the country, Radio Bakhita reported.

Archbishop Lukudu said it is the responsibility of all South Sudanese in the country to pray together for peace, saying God is the only option and that with strong faith; South Sudanese would have lasting peace.

The Catholic prelate urged citizens to call to mind all their bad deeds against their brothers and sisters in order to start another round of peace by the help of God.
