Peace ambassadors call for unity, love in South Sudan

Juba Archdiocese Catholic peace ambassadors who paid a spiritual visit to Tombura-Yambio Diocese called upon citizens to have the spirit of love and unity for peaceful coexistence in South Sudan.
 
Jackson Gerry from St Kizito Parish urged citizens to continue asking God for peace in the country especially during this time of fasting and prayers, Radio Anisa reported.
 
He appreciated the faithful of Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese for a warm welcome, urging all Christians to strengthen their faith and bridge harmony and unity among them.
 
Joyce Justin Sinaima who admired the hospitality in Tombura-Yambio diocese siad if that kind of love flourishes in the hearts of all South Sudanese, there would be no conflict in the country.
 
Wani Habib who was impressed by the big crowd that turned up for the way of cross on Friday, acknowledged that Catholic faith is big in Tombura-Yambio.
 
He promised to carry peace message from Western Equatoria to Central Equatoria and other states.
 
Last week, over 100 pilgrims from Juba Archdiocese visited Tombura-Yambio diocese to show their solidarity to Christians after the death of Bishop Emeritus Joseph Gasi Abangite.
